Photography
ann woodall's websiteThrough photography, painting, collage and whatever else I can get my hands on, I aim to encourage curiosity, appreciation, respect and love for the quirky, and I think beautiful, aspects of our world which float around us every day all the time.
Whether its the patterns within a crumbling wall or the slump of a cowboys shoulders, I believe there is importance and beauty in the details that surround us. In slowing down and taking time to see, to enjoy and to appreciate detail, the world becomes (or remains) a new and exciting place all over again. A place well worth loving and protecting in every way we can.
It is my hope that the images I bring to the table help instill a more fervent desire to love and to protect our natural world as well as create more appreciation for the rough and tumble aspects of us humans; aspects that can be beautiful in their own colorful, wacky and original ways.
