Peggy brings to the craft of bookmaking her experiences in writing, magazine publishing, travel (especially in Asia), and sewing, as well as her love of paper, fabric, typefaces, and printing. She uses handmade papers and closures, fabric, mica, and natural threads, such as linen and silk, in creating one-of-a-kind books. Her work focuses on historic bookbinding techniques including the Secret Belgium Binding, Coptic binding developed by Christians in ancient Egypt, and various Japanese binding techniques from the 15th century. In addition, she uses various old and new weaving techniques on exposed spines.Hand embroidery is a method that she frequently employs.

Her inspiration is usually found in antique ephemera and postcards, images of empowered women, and in the art of comics. She focuses on capturing the nuances of the body language and facial expressions, and gives each of her figures a certain psychology to engage the viewer. She rarely intends for any particular message to be conveyed by her work, and hopes only that other people appreciate looking at the pictures she makes as much as she enjoys the act of creating them.

Corinne is also a prolific comic artist and loves to illustrate "true stories" that provide social commentary on hipster culture, uncomfortable situations, and various scenes of emotional turmoil.
